Message from AdministrationAs always, it is a pleasure to welcome you and our students. We have a very talented and dedicated staff at Roberto Clemente Leadership Academy for Global Awareness. Each staff member takes their responsibility to nourish, protect and develop our children that are entrusted to us very seriously. We are committed to preparing all of our students to lead happy, healthy, and productive lives. Our goal as a global awareness magnet school is to have all students strive to become informed citizens who are prepared to participate and understand the culturally diverse society that we live in. We continually strive to provide a safe learning environment where students are supported academically, emotionally, socially and physically to reach their full potential.
Our dedicated staff use a standards based curriculum combined with effective instructional strategies that meet the needs of our diverse student population. We incorporate our instructional focus, project based learning and differentiated instruction for all students. We use continuous assessments and data to inform our instruction and with our students we develop learning goals. Our school title Roberto Clemente Leadership Academy for Global Awareness challenges us every day to prepare our students to become leaders in the global community. We challenge our students through an interdisciplinary approach to global politics, cultural diversity, economics, STEM, and social justice. We help to guide our students through their studies to become more aware of their impact as global citizens. Our doors are always open to the families of our students.
